BroadR-Reach technology is an Ethernet physical layer standard designed for automotive connectivity applications. BroadR-Reach technology enables multiple in-vehicle systems to simultaneously access information over unshielded single twisted pair cable.
The BroadR-Reach standard was originally introduced by Broadcom. In addition to Broadcom, NXP and Infineon also provide chip sets and Phy (88Q2112). The Infineon version used in our converters is compatible with NXP and Broadcom solutions.
In order to facilitate connection to a PC the converter additionally supports regular STP connectors.
