The HDCon5IR is a camera controller specially designed for the use with PONTIS EMC thermal image camera IRThermo6. The optical signal from the camera is connected to an integrated media converter with Ethernet output. On the Linux PC inside PECOS, the PONTIS EMC control software, offers comfortable control of the camera. The temperature can be monitored and temperature limits within specially configured regions can be set and Alarm is generated when the limits are exceeded. A relay is set and an acoustic signal is issued. Additionally an alert is sent via IP interface to other PCs in the network.
A safety loop contact it also integrated. It can produce an alert and the software can be configured. This is useful to detect open doors or similar critical points.
