The HDCon5IR is a camera controller specially designed for use with PONTIS EMC thermal image camera IRThermo6. The optical signal from the camera is connected to an integrated media converter with an Ethernet output. A Linux-based PC running the PECOS platform offers a convenient camera control. The temperature can be monitored and temperature limits within configured regions can be set. Alarm is triggered when temperature limits are exceeded. A relay output and an acoustic signal are generated. Additionally an alert is sent via IP interface to other PCs in the network.
A safety loop contact is also integrated. It can generate an alert in case of an interruption and the software can be configured accordingly. This feature is useful to detect open doors or similar critical points.
